Welcome to the London Design Festival 2025.

Welcome to the London Design Festival 2025.

We are delighted to invite you to participate in this year's festival through a specially curated exhibition programme produced by SPIRA9. As the lead curatorial and production partner, SPIRA9 proudly presents its most significant collective art project of the year:

“Othering: Everything Then is Now – Alter Peckham.”

This exhibition takes place at a rare architectural treasure — the Old Waiting Room at Peckham Rye Station, a grand Victorian space built in 1865. Once known for its vast, high-ceilinged design, the waiting room was closed more than a century ago and has remained hidden from the public eye for over 50 years. By reactivating this forgotten landmark through contemporary art, SPIRA9 transforms it into a nomadic cultural domain, exploring urgent themes of identity, space, and belonging in the context of today’s shifting global narratives.

The exhibition will be a key highlight of the London Design Festival’s South London programming, drawing an influential audience of artists, curators, collectors, gallerists, designers, cultural leaders, and creative investors from across the UK and beyond. Through our extensive network of institutional and media partners, selected artists will gain exceptional visibility, meaningful engagement, and new pathways for long-term career development.

  1. Showcase Your Work in a Historic London Landmark

Your work will be exhibited in the atmospheric setting of the Old Waiting Room at Peckham Rye Station—a symbolic Victorian relic reimagined as a contemporary site for artistic experimentation and nomadic practice.

SPIRA9 team will provide personalized guidance to ensure your artwork is presented conceptually and spatially with maximum impact.

  1. Be prominently featured as an esteemed artist in the London Design Festival 2025.

The exhibition is an official partner project of the London Design Festival. Selected works will be featured on the festival’s official "Partner Programme," providing international visibility to a wide audience of professionals, institutions, and communities in the fields of art and design.

  1. Receive Exclusive Official Invitations and Personalized Letters of Recommendation

All selected artists will receive official invitation letters jointly issued by SPIRA9, the London Design Festival, and Southwark Council—essential documentation designed to support applications for professional visas, including the Global Talent Visa (GTV),  the O-1B and EB-1A artist visas, as well as artist residencies and other international opportunities. Tailored letters of recommendation are also available upon request to further bolster your career advancement.

  1. Receive Exclusive Artist Features and In-Depth Critiques by Established Art Critics

Our curatorial board will choose outstanding works and artists to receive in-depth artwork reviews written by our in-house and affiliated art critics. These reviews will be published across leading art platforms and SPIRA9 channels. Selected artists may also be featured as “Artist of the Month,” gaining additional exposure and access to tailored career and sales support, including collector outreach and strategic visibility campaigns.

  1. Gain Global Media Coverage & Critical Acclaim with Frieze, Our Esteemed Partner

Selected works will receive professional critique from our established art critics and will be featured across major international platforms such as the London Design Festival website, Frieze, and OurCulture. Our media partner package, including platforms such as Tate, Wonderland, and the V&A, will also be accessible to all participating artists, supporting further exposure in prominent institutional publications.

  1. Receive Strategic Promotion and Global Exposure through Our Trusted Media Network

SPIRA9 activates its trusted media network to strategically promote every participating artist across high-impact platforms. With direct connections to renowned institutions such as Tate, Wonderland, and the V&A, we proactively pitch your work to influential editors and curators—unlocking opportunities for features, interviews, and lasting presence in respected international publications. Our goal is to amplify your voice far beyond the exhibition, placing you within today’s global artistic dialogue.

  1. Unlock Sales Opportunities & Connect with Collectors Worldwide

A curated sales catalogue will be produced for the exhibition. SPIRA9 will proactively connect artists with collectors, art advisors, and potential buyers, providing strategic guidance to enhance visibility and facilitate sales. A commission fee of 20% to 30% will apply on all successful sales.

  1. Secure a Permanent Online Exhibition and Ongoing Media Promotion on our platform

All exhibited works will be permanently archived on the official SPIRA9 website and promoted through our social media platforms, publications, and annual artist catalogues.

  1. Advance Your Career with Continuous Development Support

Beyond the exhibition, SPIRA9 is committed to fostering long-term relationships with artists by offering continued support through future project opportunities, resource sharing, and strategic career consultation.
