NOVE 2026
International Group Exhibition · Milan · October 2026
NOVE 2026 is an international exhibition and awards programme co-presented by Spira9 Ar, Centro Culturale di Milano (CMC) and A4U, taking place at Centro Culturale di Milano (CMC) in Milan from 22 to 28 October 2026.
Bringing together contemporary art, design, and culture, NOVE is conceived as an international meeting point where artists, designers, cultural perspectives, and audiences come together within one shared space.
At the centre of the exhibition is the idea of MEET: art meets design, cultures meet across borders, identities meet new forms of expression, technology meets human imagination, and individual creative practices meet the public.
The exhibition welcomes practices across painting, photography, sculpture, installation, digital art, mixed media, visual communication, and interdisciplinary design. Rather than imposing a single style or theme, NOVE creates a framework in which different creative positions can coexist, interact, and generate new relationships.
Awards Detail and Judging Criteria
All eligible works are evaluated according to seven criteria:
Artistic Quality · Originality · Conceptual Clarity · Execution · Contemporary Relevance · Award-Specific Relevance · Impact
Each work is assessed on its artistic merit and professional presentation before being considered for one of the Nine NOVE Awards. The jury then evaluates how meaningfully the work embodies the specific point represented by its award category.
The use of a particular medium, technology, cultural identity, or social theme does not in itself guarantee recognition. Awards are based on the quality, depth, integrity, and impact of the artistic response.
Participating artists will be officially announced in September.
