The Platform 0 Prize recognises outstanding artistic achievement within the PLATFORM 0 exhibition as part of London Design Festival. It honours works that demonstrate originality, conceptual depth, and a strong engagement with ideas of transition, connection, memory, and cultural exchange.
The Prize is conceived as a curatorial distinction. It celebrates artistic practices that cross boundaries, create new perspectives, and contribute meaningfully to contemporary artistic dialogue.
The Platform 0 Prize is conferred by the PLATFORM 0 Curatorial Board, composed of representatives from SPIRA9 ART and invited international curators and cultural practitioners.

Art Director, CAM – Casoria Contemporary Art Museum (Italy)
Antonio Manfredi is the Artistic Director of CAM – Casoria Contemporary Art Museum, one of Italy's leading museums dedicated to contemporary art and international cultural exchange. Since the museum's founding in 2005, he has curated numerous international exhibitions and developed projects addressing contemporary issues including identity, migration, social transformation, and human rights. His curatorial practice is recognised for fostering dialogue between artists from diverse cultural backgrounds and promoting contemporary art as a platform for critical reflection and public engagement.
Alastair J. R. Ball
Art Critic and Writer, England
Alastair J. R. Ball is a London-based British cultural critic, writer, and editor. His work focuses on contemporary art, theatre, film, architecture, and wider cultural issues. Through critical writing, exhibition reviews, and artist interviews, he explores the relationship between contemporary artistic practice and society with a thoughtful and interdisciplinary perspective.

Chinese Contemporary Abstract Artist
Chang Xu is a Chinese contemporary abstract artist. She received the Gold Award at the 2025 Louvre International Art Exhibition in Paris and has exhibited at the Today Art Museum Project Space in Beijing. Her work explores colour, texture, memory, and emotion through expressive abstraction.

The Awards are determined through curatorial and jury evaluation. No separate application is required unless otherwise specified.
What criteria are used in the selection process?
Works are evaluated based on:
Conceptual depth
Artistic originality
Quality of execution
Engagement with the curatorial themes of PLATFORM 0
Contribution to contemporary artistic dialogue
Relationship with space, memory, transition, identity, or cultural exchange
Additional criteria may be applied to individual media categories.

How are the Awards selected?
The Awards are selected by the PLATFORM 0 Awards Jury and Curatorial Board, composed of representatives from SPIRA9 ART, partner institutions, invited curators, museum professionals, writers, and cultural practitioners.
The Audience Choice Award is determined through public voting during the exhibition period.

The PLATFORM 0 Awards are presented in connection with each edition of PLATFORM 0.
